Tradition and Innovation

Since 1919 the AKG Group is a specialist in the field of heat transfer. Our group of companies is financially sound, innovative and expanding. With about 2,750 employees at 13 locations in Europe, America and Asia we develop and produce heat exchangers for a multitude of application areas and branches.
AKG Turkey is a production/sales company of the AKG Group, founded in 2011 and located in Izmir. With approximately 230 employees we produce standard and OEM copper-brass and aluminum coolers for local and international customers in sectors such as compressors, automotive and construction machinery.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Further development of HR policies and procedures for AKG Turkey
  • Surveillance of HR policy, laws and regulations
  • Responsible for Employee relationship
  • Responsible for leading and developing HR and Admin team (4 employees), incl. payroll
  • Participation in personnel cost planning and controlling
  • Hiring and termination of staff
  • Active role in personnel development (feedback, interviews; contact person for all departments and hierarchies)
  • Internal consultant for managers regarding HR management and Employee relationship
  • Selection and coordination of HR consultants and other service partners (f.e. insurance, pension, training)
  • HR administration (supervision and further development of procedures)
  • Representative of AKG Turkey in global AKG HR team

Job Qualifications

  • Degree (minimum B.S.) in social sciences or psychology
  • Several years of practical experience in HR, preferably gained in a manufacturing company
  • Proved experience in management development, employee relationship
  • Substantiated knowledge regarding labor law
  • Strong consultant skills
  • Above average English language skills
  • Willingness for business trips abroad
